The North Side Jazz Band, the Wildsiders, were recognized for placing in the Top 10 in the state at the Indiana State School Music Association Jazz Band State Finals. The trumpet section was named Best Trumpet Section in the state, and Garrett Spoelhof was one of only four students named Outstanding Jazz Soloist
