North Side Band Advances to State for 35th Time!

The North Side Marching Legends advanced to ISSMA Open Class B State Finals by placing in the top ten during this weekend’s competition at Pike HS.  The Semi-State saw 21 top-notch bands vie for the ten spots, and it was an afternoon filled with great music, marching, and showmanship.

By qualifying, Ed King’s band is advancing to State Finals for the 35th time in school history.  He is very proud of the effort put forth last week, and all the band members should be happy with the result.

Price: $20 Adults, $18 Students and pre-schoolers. Babies under two years of age, carried in arms and not occupying a seat, will be admitted free. All tickets are general admission, and are good for the whole event day.

North Side will have tickets from sale beginning Wednesday. They can be purchased from Angi Ross after the parent meeting (which begins at 7:30pm). They will also be available Thursday and Friday. North Side receives no financial benefit, but it will be a great convenience. You may pay with cash, or with a check made out to North Side Music Boosters.

Complete information, including our Saturday itinerary, will be available at the parent meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 in the North Side gym. (You don’t even have to be a parent to come!)

ISSMA State Finals are held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.  Class B steps off the day first, so it will be an early day for everyone.
